Beach mornings
Woorim sits on the eastern, ocean-facing side of Bribie Island. The house is approximately 200 metres from the beach, so a walk on the sand can be part of the everyday. Choose swimming spots to suit the conditions and follow local safety advice.
Village afternoons
Cafés, shops, the local surf club and the Blue Pacific Hotel are part of Woorim village life. Take a stroll, stop for a bite and leave room in the day for doing very little.
The other side of the island
Across Bribie Island, Pumicestone Passage offers a different coastal outlook. Explore boating and kayaking options, or simply enjoy the waterfront, with walks and cycling routes around the island.
Nature, close by
The surrounding bushland and national park are part of the island’s appeal. Take time to look for birdlife and enjoy the coastal landscape. Check park access, conditions and wildlife guidance before setting out.
Exploring with your dog
Beach walks are better together.
The hosts describe a nearby on-leash dog beach and a separate off-leash beach further away. Follow the signs for the area you visit, keep dogs out of the national park and check current local access rules.
